Hi my name is Anna. I am a qualified nutritional therapist based in Cork, Ireland. I have always been fascinated with the interaction between health, mood and food. After completing a short Open University correspondence course on Nutrition to further explore this area I finally made the decision to just do it and started a three year part-time Nutritional Therapy diploma with the College of Naturopathic Medicine.

My background is in software/business analysis and I continued to work daily at that whilst endeavouring to maintain a work/life balance by eating healthy and home-made as much as possible within the hours of a busy day.  I am also interested in the area of wellness and how it applies to our minds so I have been engaging more in the area of mindfulness and stress management tools.

I love food and I love being inspired by other cooks/chefs/nutritional chefs/food bloggers, not to mention nutrition colleagues, friends and family. My passion is food with the aim of introducing more nutrient dense food into the daily diet but keeping it tasty, flavourful, satisfying, comforting.  All the adjectives we seek from our food in addition to it being a fuel and life source.

As you will read from my blog posts, I am always seeking to learn and explore more in relation to nutritional foods and trying out new recipes and retrying those recipes if not successful at first attempt.  I focus a lot on dairy free recipes and wheat/gluten free recipes but not exclusively.  We all deserve to feel good, great even, and have the energy and motivation to deal with whatever our day hands (some might say throw) to us.


Nutritional therapy focuses on the health of the whole individual not just their symptoms and recognises we are all biochemically different with different nutritional requirements and profiles.

I hope that I can share my nutritional education, food and recipe discoveries with you and that we can all make some positive changes to our health and well-being.
